Chikmagalur (Kannada: Cikka Magauru)
(also known as Chikkamagaluru) is a town located
in Chikkamagaluru district in the Indian state
of Karnataka. Located in the foothills of Mullayanagiri
range, Chikmagalur is famous for coffee and
is known as the 'coffee land' of Karnataka.
It has an international school called Ambar
Valley and a star resort called The Serai. Chikmagalur
is famous for its hill stations.
Karwar, the port town on the banks
of the Kali Nadi river is the administrative
head quarters of North Kanara District in Karnataka.
It is an Excellent Beach resort with beautiful

centre especially for pepper, Karwar was also
